Happy Birthday Gregory!! It is amazing that each birthday brings those feelings of nostalgia..the feeling as though we have made it another year...the feeling of reminisce..as we remember birthday past...the ability to recall all the birthdays we have shared together. We have continued to grow up together. I have been in your life for the last 11 birthdays...how the time flies my love!!! Oh, how I feel blessed to share these memories with you. I look forward to many more. I will remember your 33rd birthday as being a day to relax. We have been so busy this month and today we slept in late...(after a long hard night of working on your birthday present with Jeff.....the Sacred Grove painting)...I made you breakfast in bed because I am a Very VERY good wife. We got up and relaxed around the house and then we powdered it up on the sledding slop with the boys. It was a blast. We sent Colton down on his own...us laughing hysterically as our little son took a bad face plant into the snow...poor Colton..and then we turned around and sent him (kicking) down with Alex and he ended up with another great face plant into the snow. We came home and ate leftovers from last night and you took a little snoozer..because its your birthday and there is nothing like a snooze on your birthday. Tonight we will go to dinner and spend some one ON one time....(just kidding...I couldn't resist...if you didn't get it then congratulate yourself with not having a mind from the gutter...) I can't wait to be with just you. The best part about you Greggy boy is that you live for simplicity. We don't have to do anything but be together for it to be perfect. Our life is perfect and I have loved every second of it...good and bad. People are lying when they say they have had no bad...because every marriage has a weak spot..that is what makes the good times so GOOD. We have come a long way and on this day...I am grateful that you are mine...that I am yours...and that our marriage will last literally FOREVER!! Happy Birthday Sweet Cheeks!! Here's to you babe and a good slab of ribs tonight at the "Roadhouse!!!"

In the meantime...

While I am trying to figure this whole thing out..I might as well post something..right? I haven't even tried to explain my love for my "superman" husband who spoiled me rotten for our anniversary. Shock would not be a word to even begin to describe my feelings when he "showered me with his love." I understand that 10 is a big number and I am sure somewhere along the way I have made it clear how big "10" actually is....(of course I have..I wouldn't be me if I didn't) He has definetly heard the moaning and gnashing of teeth when a birthday has come and gone and I recieve nothing but a comment like this.."I told you I didn't have anything for you." and then the next year followed by me thinking he can't possibly be serious and yet again he suprises me with nothing but another......um...NOTHING. Okay, so I give him a hard time..there have been many times I have recieved great things too. It isn't that I want wordly possessions...just a little show of some lovin right? There are many stories good and bad that I can go into right now...but I'll save them for a rainy day.
So anywho...we actually went on our cruise last spring for our anniversary so really we weren't supposed to be doing anything for each other. But, my sweetypoo decided differently and WHAT A DOLL....lets just say he gets what he wants for awhile. He originally told me not to look in his email because there was an email I wasn't supposed to see. OH,...Um...Okay...RIGHT!!! Do you know who you are dealing with? The impatient child who had to unwrap and rewrap christmas presents...or the child who waited for her parents to leave so that she could bombard their closet and seek out her treasures....!! I am not up for surprises and I am very VERY impatient. I am the person who reads the back of the book and then enjoys the book so much better because she knows the ending...I'd much rather know!! Anyhow, I gave it a few days..I was brave and I was strong and patient....and then I wasn't. I just had to peak into his email...and I found an email to his mom asking to watch the boys while he sent me out shopping. (there is always a little bit of a letdown when you ruin a suprise). I was shocked. I thought I knew the whole secret...but low and behold I didn't. Here's how our anniversary surprise went.....
I woke up in the morning with flowers...(okay he got a poinsetta instead..!?!?) and a card with some COLD HARD CASH explaining that I was to go and buy a new outfit for dinner that night and maybe a little outfit for latter..(hubba hubba)...um too bad I spent all the money on the dinner outfit..Let's face it...you don't have enough money to buy a birthday suit like mine.......you'd have to pay some serious dough for these stretchmarks baby!!) I went to lunch by myself....LOVED IT. It was a nice day but went by too fast. That night we went to dinner and in the past we always go to a hotel in SLC but I hate spending the money when my bed is way more comfortable. I know boring...but seriously. So, Jeff and Kerri had our boys and we came back to Hotel Johnson....kid free. Enough said. I thought that was it but boy was I surprised. When I woke up in the morning he had a big envelope he handed to me. Inside were a bunch of different envelopes with different times on them...like 9:30 or 10:30..ect. ect. I wasn't to open them until those specified times. Let's just say I spent my first hour getting a facial...the second hour getting an ice cream pedicure...the third hour having a candlelit lunch with Greg and the fourth hour enjoying a couples massage. It was the most amazing morning...I swear to it. I was so proud of Greg that 1st he planned this all and 2nd he finally gave into my wishes and got a massage with me. So heres the lowdown on the rub:
Greg was a little nervous to get a massage. I didn't know he was coming so I had a few minutes to brief him on his behavior during the massage. I have had massages before and when I come home and discuss it with him he just says he would never want a massage...just a tickle. What the heck? A tickle? You want to pay someone to tickle you? Are you kidding me? One time after a massage I thought since he treated me to the spa I would give him a massage. I tried to use my best massage manuvers....you know..I was trying to remember what felt good during my massage. All I got was an,.."Ow..that hurts...oh, that is really uncomfortable....ahh. don't touch my feet that tickles." Dude, shut up..just be glad I am touching your feet..( I despise feet so you must understand my love for Greg must be intense seeing that I'd be willing to not just touch...but rub his feet.)
It wasn't a pleasant experience so I anticipated what this was going to be like. I said,...."don't ask for them to just tickle you. Just try a massage and see if you like it." ...."okay and please no sound effects when you are being rubbed...yes it feels good but it is better to not have sounds effects..." (enough said.) He was so unsure about having a girl rub him but he was not having a dude rub him forsure. I have only had a girl give my massages so I wasn't sure I wanted a dude either. Sure enough we see two people approaching....one boy...one girl. It is amazing that in that brief 15 seconds of them walking over to us the type of conversation two people can have back and forth. "Crap...is he rubbing you or me? Um....what do we do?...um do you feel uncomfortable...dude I don't want a dude rubbing my back...."and so forth. They approached us in our little white robes and we were off. Low and behold Greg was relieved and unrelieved. He got the girl but then again..I got the boy. I decided this was fine and just to go with the flow. Until introductions began and he introduced himself as one of Greg's old students!!! AHHHHHH! Obviously Greg hadn't made the connection. What do you do at that point. Um, okay little boy....you aren't rubbing my big body. It was akward to say the least. If anyone has ever had a massage..you are mostly covered up but you are pretty out there too. I had to go to the good place and I'll admit..once he started rubbing I was able to go to the good place much quicker and it was the best massage ever...but akward. I try not to think about it too hard....because then I feel humiliated.
It was all in all a wonderful day and I love Greg for treating me like a queen. 10 years! It is amazing how fast time goes by. I'm not a mush but I love Greg more every day and every year. My love for him now is so different then when we first started. We have been through so much in ten years and he is my rock. I couldn't live without him. Its such a different kind of love and appreciation. I miss him when he's at work and I love to be around him when he is home. We can laugh at each others jokes like no other..(okay so most of the time we are laughing at our own jokes but the other one thinks we are laughing at their joke...) We got laughing so hard the other day in the car I thought we were going to crash. I couldn't breath and I was on the verge of tears. No one can do that to me like Greg. When we'd have our babies and he'd have to go back to work I missed him like crazy as I sat in the NICU watching our new little creation. He was my rock through each of my babies....he had all the faith in the world. Greg is spiritual and uplifting. He knows how to solve problems by teaching through the scriptures. My patriatical blessing described him...and without a doubt when I met Greg I knew he was who my blessing described....problem solved....questions answered..it was him. I love you Greg and I'm so thankful that we have eternity because ten years hasn't been close to enough time with you!!
Here's to my true love!!
confused..??
So it is not the first time my thoughts have confused people. Lets just say sometimes it sounds right in my brain. The plan is to start a new without using our names on a not so private blog. I think....but now my brilliant plan is going to be hard because then I have two blogs to keep up with. It would be too hard to go back through my old blog and erase all of our names. Its Christmas people...give me a break...new year...new posts...new blogs.......RESOLUTIONS AH? Oh, and I still haven't written about so many good..funny,...things. One day...I promise..it is coming...for now..I'm too tired!! If you are still confused too bad.....

My new Family!!
Okay, so I have had such a hard time with going private. Should I?...shouldn't I?....... and finally I decided the answer is BOTH!! Now I know that YOU know that I am a woman of many many talents and so it is possible for me to come up with the impossible...(if you weren't thinking that.....then click the X up at the right hand corner of your screen and go away!!) I've decided that I want this actual blog to be private because let's face it...I've aired my "personals" for the world to see...which actually feels quite nice...it's not the stories I mind being out there...it is the names and the details..and since this is for more of a "personal history" of sorts than we must assume "Private" status!! But our story will continue on a new blog for all to read. We just may have different names. Like Diego for Dallin or Kermit....for my Greggy. Just know it is us all the same. It will be like living out a fantasy..using names I never would use but would love to have...(just assume my name may be something along the lines of "Barbie, or Candy, or Sexy Momma...or 'Hot Mamma'...that's what my boys call me.....or sexy long legs" I am assuming my name will change quite frequently to be able to touch on my many characteristics. So stay tuned. The new blog is under construction...(which actually means I just thought of this five minutes ago and I will be attending to it sometime in the next week.) I still want to tell Greg stories and I want to share our crazy life...and I will share pictures...I just want to get our names and cities out of it...make sense? So, if you could please pick a hot sexy new name for me or an outrageious last name for our family and put it on your sidebar instead of our real name...I'd really appreciate it......just please don't include the words "Big, ugly, unslender, or words having to do with my body being over the size of 2" in your description of me.
The invitations for the old blog are in the mail....the email that is....(okay so they will be soon) and the new blog is underway....Maybe now I can start keeping up my blog now. I just have felt like not blogging since I didn't know which direction I was going.....I've found my direction!!!! I promise the new blog will retell stories of old...from the Greg and Becky archives......really I don't need to describe that any further...those who know us can only understand what that intells!!!
Stay tuned.....

Privacy coming soon!!
I know..it's coming. I just got to work up the UMPH to switch over to some Privacy. Also coming in detail....my 10th wedding anniversary...the fact that Colton is oxygen free...and the fact that I may have broken my poor two year olds nose!!!! (I have to work through the therapy on this one though first before I can think about it long enough to write about it!!!) Oh, and we just got family pictures...YEAH!! (Although I look like a horse in all of the pictures..don't you wish you had my obnoxious rolls????)
Stay tuned!!

The Time Has Come
I finally made a decision. I am going private. Let me know your email address if you'd like an invite. If I don't know you....tell me how you know me and if its legit..(I will ivestigate:)) I will send an invite. I think I just realized my kids are the reason I blog....so I need to put them first. Sorry for the inconvinience...but better safe than SORRY!!!
Famous quote of the day
So...brace yourselves...you may think I'm crazy after this post. Oh, be quiet...so you thought I was crazy before...KEEP IT TO YOURSELF!! So after my visit to the "dermi" last week I have been a little obsessed about my "beauty mark" above my lip. I've always thought of it as a beauty mark....(I have like 4 of them..which makes sense...:)...) Anywho....somebody who will go nameless because it is easier to deny it now....uh hmmm...was appauled that the "dermi" didn't remove that mole because it is "HUGE"....(EXACT WORDS). I have to admit...I haven't liked this mole recently and really wanted it off but let's be honest...no one wants to spend money right now...especially on cosmetics!! Okay..I want to spend money but I can't!!
Okay......so growing up one of my favorite movie lines was a classic from John Candy himself...(I miss that man!!). We quoted it quite often as a family for reasons that will stay between our family because it probably wasn't the nicest reason why we quoted it....It went as follows..(Read it outloud with me if you remember this line..) (Deb and Dina... let me hear you loud and clear!!!)
"TAKE THIS QUARTER AND GO DOWNTOWN AND HAVE A RAT GNAW THAT THING OFF YOUR FACE!!"
Anyways..I was feeling like the lady on the movie with the big growth protruding off of her face and I didn't really have a quarter and nor did I want to go downtown....um so I took matters into my own hands and operated by myself......with the NAIL CLIPPERS!!! ahhhhhh...OKAY it's out there. Now you know. Think I'm crazy? It's okay, Greg thinks I am. Yes it did hurt....Yes...it bled like crazy....And NO...it's still there. It looks even bigger now!!!
Lesson of the Day: Take the Advice and take the quarter and allow a rat the chance to gnaw...cause Nail clippers just don't work!!!...atleast on moles anyways!!
(* for those who would like to contribute to Becky's official mole removal fund please let us know.......for those who would like to contribute to her Psychotherapy...keep it to yourself!!)

You got a problem?
So yesterday was one of those days where you just feel lovely about yourself. About 5 weeks ago I had this thing on my face..that was originaly a mole...a little tiny white mole....turned to something ugly. It looked like a zit on steroids...yet it wasn't a zit. Almost like a burn. It was awful bad and many people felt as though them commenting about it would either result in it suddently disappearing or in making me feel like crap about myself. (I will never understand why people have to point out other peoples problems...you don't think I see this thing growing on my face...Geez!) Well, it took a good three weeks for the actual sore to go away but left an ugly scar on my face. Last week the "thing" started coming back....which again people felt it their obligation to point that out!! GET OVER IT! Well at this point Greg started freaking out because once again...it was originally a mole. He came in Sunday morning and said he was just sick about it and that I needed to get to the doctor that day. Um...excuse me...I'm sleeping..go away...oh and its Sunday so don't freak out it is fine!!! I knew it was fine...I told Greg it was fine. He got the kids to gang up on me and they MADE me go to the dumb dermatologist office yesterday!! He looked at it.....SURPRISE...it was fine. Just a staff infection of sorts and he lazered it and it looks even better today. BUT....he did a quick once over of my face, hands, and legs and lower back. As he looks down at my hand he starts full out laughing. Now this guy was pretty quiet up until now. Not really friendly but not rude either. He is full on LAUGHING at me. And then he says this....."WHAT HAPPENED?" I'm totally confused and I can feel my face turning red...and he points at my finger again and all he can get out is this annoying laugh. "ah ha ha ha...ah ha ha ha..." Oh....I see you want me to kick you in the face? You may be rich and tall but I can take you outside the back by all the BMW's and kick your trash!! He then gestures for his nurse to come over and look at my decapitated finger. My poor poor finger. Thanks once again Dina. I already warned you that I will sue you when you are rich....Scott will be my attorney!! If anybody needs a reminder....Dina...my sister....chopped the top of my finger off in the front door when I was little and all I was trying to do was wave to my mom and dad's friends and she didn't like that. She has made fun of me my whole life. Go ahead...ask Greg how long it took for me to let him hold that hand??? I was so embarassed of it because it was so ugly and fat. ( Let me remind you I had 4 plastic surgeries before the age of five my friends!! ....my finger..my chin twice...and then the nice dog who bit my face off!!!) Anyways...back to Dr. Loser. He says..."No really..what happened?" Now I had already made the connection that his brother and Dina and her husband lived by each other in N.C. So I said..."ya..you know that sister I was just telling you about? She cut it off in the front door." Now I could have said, "why don't you get a little closer so you can get a better look at it".. ..and then punched his lights out...but I didn't because I am nice and let's get serious...I'm used to it by now. (let us not foget the little asian guy doing my nails for my wedding..."Wat happen you finga? Les see...how I chawge you? nine nomal finga one bery bery hawd finga.") I am posting some pictures of my "perfect" finger that in the resurrection all of you will receive because it IS so perfect. Until then....dream on!!! So here you go...my finger debut!!! Laugh away my people...laugh away. I'm a good sport. I kind of think my middle finger resembles the shape of the cookie monster!?!? And yes it is my middle finger...oh, I know...even funner. My side hurts its so funny!!!
So in SCARY news. We are doing the over night tests at home for Colton with the pulse oximeter to see how his oxygen level is at night. It always scares me because you know little kids and how they sleep. They toss and turn and get all tangled up in the cords. I have figured it out with the oxygen cord. I have it go down the back of his pajamas and out through the leg.....lessening the chance that it will get wrapped around his neck. Well with this machine you hook it just to his finger or toe and seeing as though is has obese toes...we had to do his finger. I turned the machine down because Alex said he wouldn't be able to sleep and I figured it was being recorded into the machine for the doctors. I got up many times in the night to check on him. At 4:30 I heard him start to whimper. I though he was just probably uncomfortable so I just layed there for a minute to see if he would go back to sleep. I finally decided that they probably got enough data for the test so I went in to take it off. I had kindof tightened the slack of the cord in between his bed so he didn't have room to roll over but somehow he did roll over and it was wrapped one time tightly around his neck. He was pinned up against the side of the bed. FREAKY! Obviously he was okay but it makes me sick to think of the "what if''s". Tonight...he will be sleeping by me!!! I hope he does well on the test because let's face it....he is sick of the oxygen...and so am I!!! I really hope this doesn't turn out to be a lifetime thing!!!
I think I deserve the mean mom award. I was just opening an email and got one of those stupid utube thingys that you stare at this nice quiet room and then some monster sits up and scares you. So I called the boys in for what I call.."mom entertainment". I sat them both on my lap and right up next to the screen and made sure the sound was up nice and loud and then when they jumped sky high I couldn't help but laugh hysterically. Is that sad? I was laughing so hard I couldn't breath. Alex was saying..."mom that is not funny. I mad at you." and Colton was saying "whoa..I scared of that guy!!" Okay...so they may need therapy but it sure proves for a lot of hugs and kisses because they need comfort..okay..I know what you are thinking....I may need therapy!! Ahhh, I remember my sister and I putting nylon over our faces to scare my neices and nephews and they all turned out okay!!!
Okay....good day!!

And the new President is....
I only put this picture on here for one reason. It was Halloween when I took this picture. Let's see..um 4 days ago. No zits. I now have a valley of pimples living on my face!!! HORMONES!!!
Visiting Daddy!!
Greg jeopardizing our childrens well-being!!
Dallin riding the WILD horse moments before the fall!!
Alex and Colton hiding from Dad's scary students!!! Oh, and Alex ended up being three different things through the holiday week.
Dallin was a soccer player....SURPRISE!!
Mom's traditional pumpkin pancakes. I tried to make up my own recipe this year for pumpkin chocolate chip pancakes and they didn't work...so we went back to the old favorite!! (I on the other hand ate Joeditos chips and salsa with a nice coke...greg was trying to kiss up!!)
Alex as a football player (this was for school)
The costumes for Grandma's house!!
CHECK!! I'm done. I have now officially voted. Not for anyone I'm really fond of....but fonder than the other guy!! And albiet that I broke the little line divider while I was waiting in line. Of course I did....I break everything I touch! But, I am done and I need some comfort food ASAP! Anyone else feeling the squeemies? This country scares me right now! As I sit here all worried about our country and about finances I am quickly brought into my little two year olds care free life as he "passes gas" and giggles and says..."I barted!! Mommy..I barted!!" Sometimes I wish a "bart" could cure all sadness and worry...although it does always prove for a good laugh!!!
I have been having a hard time sitting down to type away into my blog. I thought it would be much easier than my journal which gets touched twice a year on a good year. But, just like anything else...it takes work and concentration. So much goes on that by the time I go to type it out..it's turned into a novel of sorts!!! My apologies to anyone following along. Did you ever stop to think that a blog is your journal that other people are allowed to read. I remember sneaking into my sisters journal...(which wasn't hard to break into because her "hello kitty" journal had the key attached to it!!! Nice.. but that is where I learned about Deanne and Jason Bogert!!! he he or Jason Booger as I like to call him) Sorry a little sidetracked!!! Anywho....now we write blogs with pictures...a glorified journal...and yet others read. Modern Technology!!
Halloween turned out to be eventful to say the least. It was filled with shopping..visiting daddy at work...shopping...work party.....trunk or treat....and a visit to mama cocos and papa Pete's!! The work party was fun. Greg stuck my little babies on the horse while I breathed into a brown paper bag. Just kidding...but I should have been. He then got on the horse..with Colton in front and Alex in the back. They made it. Unfortunetly for the people after us.....they got bucked and then of course I let out a BLOOD CURTLING SCREAM as the horse kicked and ran and headed straight in the path of my little Alex. Luckily he veered off to the right and there were no tragedies......whoo. It was a fun night...but I'm glad it is over with!!!
So, the ten year anniversary is coming up. I am in shock that it has been ten years. Don't you remember dating someone for like a month and feeling like you made it through the eternities and that you must spend forever together because you made it through a whole month? Yeah...so ten years? I feel as though I should just get Greg and I matching walkers. His could be blue...mine could be pink!! The problem really is that I don't know what to do for Greg...so lets put our computer screens together and think of something...okay..you do that and I will listen. Come on.....I will erase your comment if you say you can't think of something so just don't comment at all!!! Oh, I'm sorry...was that rude? GET OVER IT!!! Okay...so I pretty much have a week to think something up. And let's remember.....it's got to be on the "low budget" page...unless someone is willing to donate for the cause.?!?!?! Cheapos!! (I may or may not know what Greg is getting me for the anniversary. SHHHHH...so I may have peaked!!) I was the child that would unwrap my Christmas presents and rewrap them. It's a horrible trait but someone's gotta have it!!!
Greg and I were supposed to be going to the adoption meeting tomorrow. I think we are putting it off for another month. I guess I keep thinking that by another miracle some cure will be found and we can proceed with another pregnancy. I know....DOUBTFUL!!!
Well, I'm too antsy to sit here and type. I'm dying on this election day...I'm going to go make stew and homeade rolls and I may eat a gallon of ice cream to calm my nerves....and then tomorrow I can be sick about my lovehandles!!!

Hurry boys..close your eyes!!!

Just another reason why bees should not have ever been created........
I took the boys to Walhole on Friday. We just needed a few things and although I hate Walmart and actually shopping all together...I knew we could be quick. We ran in and were swift and efficient...the kids on their best behavior..(shocker) I should have known that it was the calm before the storm. I have seen every kind at Walmart...or so I thought. Let this be a lesson.....nothing should ever shock you in this world. And let me just announce this now...I do not love Halloween. I just don't get that into it.....and I'm starting to understand why.
Shocker #1: The boys and I have just retrieved our favorite vitamins. We haven't been faithful vitamin takers and after a few colds already this season we've recommited ourselves to the Flinstones and the "one a days". Anyways..we were on our way..I sort of wish I would have been warned and I could have also grabbed some of those reading glasses by the pharmacy so that the boys vision would have been a little misconstruded..(is that a word?). A chick comes walking by us..and by "chick" I mean a grown woman....(even more appauling..you sort of expect it from the teenagers) she is wearing something a long the lines of "romantic bedroom attire".....I am assuming because it was even a little immodest for bedroom attire if you catch my drift. I'm no prude but seriously....at Walmart..okay anywhere..but really...at the store????? I will admit after having three boys that boys are BOYS from the second they are born because my two year old took one look at her and said.."Whoaoa!!" That is sad!! For those who know me...you know that I wear every expression on my face whether I mean to or not. The girl put her hand to her chest..(her practically bare chest) and made some shocked look.....obviously mocking my look of astonishment. I don't want to judge and I won't but for heaven's sakes...I have three young boys who don't need a lesson on anatomy at the local Walmart.
Shocker #2: So if this lady wasn't bad enough...(you knew there was more didn't you?) I always say that it is appauling to me that bees are still flying around this time of year. Shouldn't they take a break for a good 6 months to make MY life a little less annoying. I hate bees and now....I think there is another good reason why they shouldn't exist. We went through the line and I was checking my bill...(things cost so much these days its amazing) when I looked up and literally when people say their jaw hits the ground..I believe them now because mine did just that!! The most shocking costume I have ever layed eyes on. There was a lady.....by that I mean a mother,... there with her children and she was wearing a skimpy underwear and bra....that's it. Okay, she had on antennas and some high heels..oh and a belly ring that my son informed me about later..nice!! The under roos were..you guessed it.....yellow and black. Isn't that darling. She was a bumble bee. Now I don't condone any person wearing this attire...especially to the grocery store..but first of all......A MOM..with her poor children by her side and second she wasn't fat but she wasn't skinny either and her body was covered in stretch marks. Now...I don't say that meanly because I pretty much just described my body...but who has that kind of self confidence to wear that to Walmart or anywhere for that matter?
My poor poor children really saw too much on our shopping trip. I was driving home and just had to call my sister to share my shock and I told her that she was wearing yellow and black stripes and Dallin's pipes up from the back and says,.."No mom, her underwear were pokadots!!" SERIOUSLY!!!! SERIOUSLY!!! SER...IOU.....SLY????????? The difference between a boy and a girl. I was noticing the stretch marks and none of the details and my son memorized every single detail in the one second that his eyes caught sight of this woman...because then his eyes were covered!!!
I'm scared....(not just of bees) but for the world that my children are being raised in. I think we have become accustomed to things in our world. I know my boys would see that kind of stuff at the swimming pool but I don't appreciate it there either. You would just think that a little modesty at Walmart isn't too much to ask for!! I don't care if you are going to a great Halloween party....please cover yourself up at the local shopping center!!
Looking back...I wish I would've had my bee spray with me!!! It probably wouldn't have had the same affect like it would on a real bee....but it would've been funny to try!!

Isn't it fair?

This is my sweet Olivia. She actually belongs to my sister Dina..aka Deanne. Well, she actually looks like my baby pictures. Don't you think since she looks like my baby pictures that she should be rightfully mine? Okay, Dina..if enough people agree than its only fair that she is then mine!! I'd start packing her bags!! (Truthfully...is she not the most beautiful baby ever? And I don't just say that because she has my stunning looks...although she does....LUCKY GIRL!!)
What a difference a Haircut makes!!
I was going through a "let's all grow our hair out" phase. It passed and I finally chopped the boys hair off. I think they look so much better with their hair short!! I think I was going more through a "I don't want to cut three sets of hair heads" phase. It was worth it!! Handsome boys if I do say so myself, and I do and I can because they look nothing like me and everything like their handsome father!!

Happy Fall Break
Wow, Dallin..that doesn't really look like a $1.50 pumpkin. (Inside joke...just ask Greg!)
All tuckered out after a long FULL day!!! Dallin seems to be adoring his pumpkin!! Man those hormones start early these days!!
These pictures say it all. "You will take a picture whether you like it or not!!"
Ahhh. time for a change. (The blog..did you notice?) I always need a little switch up to make me feel satisfied.
It's taken me awhile to post this post..don't ask me why. Just haven't been in the mood to add the pictures I guess.
Have I mentioned I love the FALL!?!?! This is my favorite time of year. I love the crispness in the air. I crave so many things this time of year. I crave soup! I crave crisp nights outside playing a little game of P-I-G. I crave the holidays. (hence, we sang Christmas songs before bed last night) I crave sweatshirts and warm blankets. I crave the urge to wear my big multicolored slippers. I crave dark nights. I crave rolling around in the leaves....this is usually better with the boys..and even better with the my hubby if you catch my drift!! I crave having a reason to snuggle up with my family on cool nights. I obviously get a little nostalgic this time of year. I look at my family and I feel so content I never want this time to end. Ahhhh. anyways!!
The weekend was filled with fun. Bowling, Pumpkin patch...(ew..dirty), movies, sack lunches, Joe's chips and salsa,..and a whole lot of excitement. I love a long weekend. Greg unfortunetly only took off one day but we sure jammed alot into that one day. We of course had fun..but can I just claim that I hate the pumpkin patch. Every year I dread going there. I can't believe we pay money to go wander around in a little dinky corn maze...smell turkey poop....and jam 75 kids onto each blow up toy. Seriously. I panic the whole time they are playing...germs and some serious injuries can be caused on those things. Greg laughs at me the whole time but really don't let those pictures fool you...I don't find it that fun at all.
Greg and I went out on a hot date that night. We of course went to my favorite Joeditos as I like to call it. We then went to a movie. All day we were debating what movie to go to. I had my pick..."Nights in Rodanthe" and he had his movie....you know the one just like all of the others but they are just playing another sport? If you tell Greg it is based on a true story he will pay to see it and you better believe he will own it. We have every "based on a true story" movie that was ever made. He claims Savannah Smiles was a true story...he just likes an excuse for why he cries like a baby every time he sees that movie. Anyways..he acted like he was going to be a gentleman and let me see my movie but I am not dumb and so I got up to the window and asked the lady which one she would go see. She said the one about the sports and so I said, "We will take two to that." She says, "Oh, well we just sold our last two tickets." Of course you did!! So, I say to Greg that we don't have to go see amovie tonight and we can just go another night. He was like, "No, no...let's go see your movie. It is okay." He practically forced me to buy those tickets. I thought it was pretty nice of him...he was a true gentleman... until we got down the hallway and he was like, "here come over here. We'll just sneak into mine." Of course we will. How could I be so silly. Only Greg. well,...Greg's movie was ACTUALLY sold out. Not a seat in the house. He just sat there and hesitated like two seats were going to suddenly be available. Finally I dragged him out of there and we headed to mine which had a couple of seats. Of course none of them were by each other and ofcourse no body can scoot over...everyone has to have a seat inbetween them. Just as we were going to go exchange our tickets some kid stood up and left and there sat four seats. Now of course they were in the break your neck by staring straight up section..but they were actually by each other. Perfect!!! And then....the chick...teeny bopper..okay college bopper sitting next to me....sat chewing and popping her gum so obnoxiously I thought I was going to scream. It was a flash back to the ACT when the kid next to me did the same thing and I won't even reveal what that math score was on the ACT...I blame it all on him. She was so annoying. And then at the end I did get a little emotional...but I make sure not to make an ugly face...I let the tears roll. I heard the stupid chick lean over to her boyfriend and say..in a loud voice..trying to whisper..."The lady next to me is crying." First of all...I'm not a grandma..dont' call me lady and second of all...I HEARD YOU!!! They seriously just sat and watched me the rest of the time and I wanted to pick my nose or something to give them something else to talk about. ANNOYING!!! Anyways...Greg liked the movie...like I knew he would because he likes crying movies...just ask him about "Charlie"!!!
Well, life is great and I love spending time with my family. It goes too fast!! I wish every weekend could be a five day weekend. But then wouldn't that make it more of a weekday and then work would be like the weekend. Okay...I need some serious caffeine.

If only...
I can't forget what Alex just told me. So, now I won't!! (he was coloring at the time)
"mom, you know what you have in your tummy? A BABY!!...a girls baby...cause I drawed it so it in your tummy. Now yous gonna have a boys baby in your tummy cause I draws it too!!"
If only it was that easy!!

Closed for business!!
Haven't blogged for awhile because let's face the facts...not alot to blog about yet I'm too busy to blog...makes sense!!!
I'll sum up this week in pictures and little info!!
Conference weekend is a little piece of heaven in our house. Just having daddy home all day and just being able to veg is pretty dreamy if I do say so myself. We also have made it a tradition to eat nonstop on these weekends. We start on Saturday with homemade egg/bacon/cheese croissant sandwiches!! At lunch this year we threw in a new tradition with homemade fresh smoothies. Greg always goes with his family to Priesthood and dinner and I always go with his mom and my sister in laws for a fun filled night..of course filled with more food. Sunday morning with break out the brunch with Norwegian pancakes filled with fresh fruit whipcream and powdered sugar. YUM...of course it wouldn't be a great meal without some more bacon and sausage and eggs. More smoothies for lunch and Shredded pork tacos for dinner. Dang...I'm tired just typing all that. Now that you have a conference weekend menu I'm sure you can continue on with your day!!! (just on here for posterity people..bare with me!!)

Greg always looks so comfy during conference and let me promise you...he usually doesn't move from his spot the entire day once he has become comfortable....thinks he's a king or something!!! Dallin was so diligent in keeping notes. Don't ask me why he thought the window was a comfortable spot. Colton found making out with the dog took up some good time....YUCK!!

This is our newest bribe with Colton. He despises putting on his oxygen. If you approach our house at bed time you will hear alot of screaming and yelling and bribing and possibly Greg sitting out on the front porch holding Colton's blanky and milk ransom until his oxygen is on. For awhile Greg would do this and then when Colton had his oxygen on then he could knock on the window and Greg would save his blanket and milk from any bear that may be lurking around for a little blanky...cruel but necessary...promise ya!!! Well this week we found that he likes putting on his own tape. If you look closely you will see...it's nowhere close to his cords..but who cares. I just go in and pull off the tape he put on in the middle of the night!!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOO Cougars. We got some funny stares as we dined at Costco on Saturday. It was like people were amazed that we could find this much BYU pride in one family!! Get over it!!! I love to dress up in my BYU attire!!!

Um, Greg and I sent the boys out to play the other night while we finished up the dishes. We could hear somebody clearing their throat....guess we didn't realize the "Kissing Patrol" was standing outside the kitchen window. His look of disgust is too much for me!!! You'd think the kid would like his parents to show some kind of affection towards each other!!?!?!?

Alex's hair is getting long and so I was trying to figure out a new way to do it. I did it this way and he took one look in the mirror and said, "MOM!! You see these guys..(he points above each of his ears..) I don't like these guys!!" It was worth a shot!!

This is a picture of Colton throwing a complete fit because we were done reading our scriptures. Boy this kid surprises me sometimes....He seems to be a Laman/Lemuel type. Just kidding!! Seriously...just kidding!!

This my friends is the sign of a very nice head rub!! Thank you Gregory!!!!
Greg and I went bowling this weekend....let's just say this is possible. I got 2 spares and a strike and still ended up with 51 points. I guess 5 gutter will do that to you!! My hottie ended up with 125 and wanted to cry....poor baby!!
Well, Greg and I went and visited with our doctor..again...this week. I of course left in tears feeling sorry for myself. It looks as though my "womb" is closed for business.....or it isn't yet but it should be!!! Let me state it once again....I am so grateful for the three that I have. Each a miracle with amazing stories to tell. People don't understand why I'd want to do it again..but I did...but I won't...so I'm sad!! That's all that need to be said right now!!! Sometimes details are too personal...even for me!!!

Nice day for a bike ride ay?
Today I learned why I don't venture out as much as I should...to excercise. I spent a half an hour on the treadmill and then decided to take the boys out on a walk. When I got out to the shed I saw my bike...hmmmm...maybe just maybe this could be fun. Greg and I take the boys out for bike rides a lot but hooking up the stroller to my bike seems to be tricky...but I decided today was a great day for a bike ride! Humph!! After much effort, (this would usually count as my workout...geez) I got the dang thing hooked on!! Yeah! I took it out for a test run because once I put in on backwards and about killed myself and my children when I tried to take a turn. Greg came home and tried it and said, "Hey, its on here right, I don't know what you are talking about!!" He took off down our drive way and turned to go on the street and about did a 360 with the stroller in tow....I couldn't help but laugh at him. Teach him to mock me and my biking abilities!! Anyways, it seemed like it was on there right. For the most part we had an enjoyable ride. It was beautiful and there was some flock of something making a lot of noise in the sky and doing some awesome formations. I was feeling like a pretty good and "exercisable" mother. (It's a shame you can't lose weight from one bike ride!!) Well, after about the 321st time the stoller fell off of the bike I decided it was time to head home. We were pretty far from home and I knew we'd encounter at least 50 more times of it falling off when all of a sudden my pedal was acting weird. I was trying to figure it out without crashing into the sidewalk when OF COURSE....my pedal fell off. I stopped the bike just in time for my dang stroller to fall off once again. Crap!! I was far away from home and I needed a wrench or whatever the heck that tool was that those nice workers used to put my pedal back on. Yes, I ventured out and asked a complete stranger(s) to help me with my pedal.... Shocking I know...I figured it was taking the risk of being attacked by a stranger or walking the couple of miles back home pushing my stupid bike and my children. (For those who just entered the picture...I'm freakishly paranoid!!!) well, we made it home after being gone for 2 hours and as we pulled in my large 2 year old that I've pulled around for two hours says, "yeah, we're home...I'm tired!!!!" Me too buddy...me too!!! Here's to rainy days and a treadmill!!! (just kidding..it was fun...and I may possibly do it again!!)..........(next spring)
